Minimum age to receive a tattoo at King St Tattoo is 18, no exceptions.
You’re required to present your photo ID and fill out the release form for every appointment and will not be able to be tattooed if you do not meet these requirements. -
The minimum charge is $150. Whilst our artists charge $200 per hour, smaller pieces (3 hours and under) can be quoted by the piece.
Day rates are available upon consultation with an individual artist. -
If there is a specific artist you have in mind, it is best to obtain a quote specifically from them.
A quote can also be obtained by reaching out to us via the form at the bottom of this page or via IG & FB Messenger. -
A consultation prior to making a booking is required. It’s best to come in to allow the artist to see in situ your current tattoo and provide you with options from there.

Once you’ve had a consultation with an artist or reached out to us via the below form or on socials, we can get you booked in via a bank transfer deposit to secure your desired timeframe and artist.

We’re open 7 days a week for walk-ins: you’re more than welcome to come have a chat with one of our available artists to discuss your ideas. A consultation may be required prior to booking in for a tattoo, specifically if its a cover-up or a larger piece.

Whilst our artists froth over trad, we have a talented selection of artists that can cover most styles. Having a look at our artist’s portfolios may be helpful. In the instance that there is no artist preference, you’ll be booked in with the next available artist that best suits.

Pain is a very different and unique experience from person to person: something that is considered painful may be relatively painless for another. Being tense can make for a more uncomfortable experience. Staying relaxed and focusing on breathing are the easiest ways to manage pain.

This is something that is at the discretion of the artist and is best to discuss with them prior to your appointment. Please do not apply numbing cream prior to your appointment without discussing with your artist first.

For larger pieces, cover-ups and designs that span over multiple sessions, a consultation with specific artist is required. For smaller pieces that could be easily completed in one session, a consultation is not necessary.

The skin on these areas is quite thin and, as a result, can be prone to extreme blurring and/ or fading. This means that being tattooed in these areas are subject to artist’s discretion.

Our studio is set up to cater for walk-ins 7 days a week.
